Good Day everyone and welcome to the final New Release stampset from Inspired By Stamping!
Today's card I have featured the new and fabulous set Plumerias which I have heat embossed with super fine gold embossing powder.
I absolutely adore this set and enjoyed experimenting with blending coloured pencils directly onto cardstock.
I just used water colour pencils but my usual method is to pick up colour with my aqua brush then paint onto the cardstock directly however I have coloured the image with very light touch with the pencils then blended it with my aqua brush.
This is the second time this week that I have used this method and I really like the feel and control I have over my colouring in doing this method.
The sentiment has also been heat embossed but on vellum cardstock as I didn't want to totally cover my floral image. To tie in the gold theme I have placed a strip of gold cardstock on the right side of the card followed by a black and white striped designer paper. I have placed 3 different coloured sequins on the card as an added element.
Hope you enjoyed today's card and I look forward to your comments.
Happy paper crafting peeps.
Hugs Jo

Hi All, who likes a fun stampset? I do, and that is what today's card is all about simple, fun and colourful.
I have added colour by ink blending distress inks direct to a white card base.
Before inking I heat embossed with white pearl embossing powder for an added sparkle and shine.
I love adding black and white stripes paper to a simple card for a bold contrast.
The sentiment has been stamped with Onyx black ink to go with the black and white striped designer paper.
To finish off the card I have added some small sequins scattered around the card.
Hope you enjoyed today's card.
Happy paper crafting peeps.

Hi All, first let me say how much I LOVE this stampset.
To be honest when I first saw this stampset I couldn't have been more excited. The first thought in my head was water colouring.
The technique I used today was direct water colouring pencil blending on cardstock. I worked the pencil colouring softly blending choosing my colours wisely so I didn't have to over work my aqua brush to prevent pilling as I stamped the image on non water coloured card stock.
This one layered card is rather simple and I let the stamp and colouring show case how to make this a "wow" card.
I have added some clear sequins to finish of the card.
Hope you enjoyed today's creation.
Happy paper crafting.

White heat embossing for the new release sentiment stampset make it pop against the black cardstock. I was able to chose from the large array of add on sentiments, I chose the word "amazing" as I have a particular friend of mine that I am going to give this to.
To finish the card off I have added some coloured sequins.
I hope you liked today's creation.
Happy Paper Crafting Peeps.

Hi All, I have made these cards with the Altenew FREEBIE from the Australian Simply Cards Magazine . This fabulous freebie comes with a beautiful build a rose stamp and die.
I have played with all my gray inks from different stamp companies such as Hero Arts, Stampin Up & Ranger Distress collections.
All the roses are stamped with Stampin Up Strawberry Slush, Blushing Bride, Crisp Cantaloupe.
The leaves have been stamped with Old Olive, Pear Pizzazz & Gumball Green.
Each background has been blended in with the Ink Ranger blending tool. I repeat stamped the middle step rose stamp with the same ink I blended the background with.
All cards have been embellished with sequins.

Distress Inks - Pumice Stone & Hickory Smoke

Hi All, Welcome to today's blog post. Today, I will show you how The Background Lines stampset can help you accentuate bold or subtle results for your cards. All 3 cards below I have used the same bold stripe by repeat stamping however with different colours they can be as bold as you like or as subtle as you like.
I prefer to use all pigment inks for the bold stripes as not only is this is a solid stampset which will provide really good coverage when used with pigment ink but I have also added a clear embossing powder which I heat embossed to add a sheen to the stripes. Unfortunately the photo's doesn't pick up on this detail.
This 1st card above I have used a bright red pigment ink to create a contrasting background to the pretty water coloured cherry blossoms . I have used my Zig Clean and Clear markers to colour the Cherry Blossoms stampset on all 3 cards. I have added some burlap & chevron ribbon along with some clear droplets to embellish the cards.
The 2nd card I have used a subtle pink ink as I felt that I didn't want to take any focus of the bright beautiful pink cherry blossoms.
Because I didn't add too much colour to the yellow cherry blossoms the ink I used for this card for the stripes was a muted gold metallic pigment ink. The gold ink chosen added a lovely shimmer and shine to the card.
I hope you liked today's creations and bring out a well loved staple stampset such as the stripes.
