Hi paper crafters, today's easel card is for Mother's Day.

I used the marker direct to stamp technique. 

The watercoloured cardstock has been placed on soft sky cardstock which i have distressed the edges and placed on a doily and lace.

To keep the easel in a stand right position mounted at sentiment on foam squared and placed a flower on either side.

The sentiment is from "Mother's Day Bouquet"

This commissioned card was requested from a friend of mine to give to a relative who loves simple but elegant cards. This is the first time I made a cascading card, it took some planning ahead to make sure I get the cuts and scoring right. Overall I think it turned out great and was please with my first attempt. Hope you like Angela? and look forward to feedback from your Auntie. 

I made this card in honor of my mother who loves Red! My Mother passed away a couple of years ago with pancreatic cancer and there is not one day that I don't miss her. When I think of my mum I think of RED, her laugh and her FOOD! She was the best Asian cook and I feel blessed to have had spent the time that I did with her. Happy Mother's Day Mum and to all the Mother's out there!
