Inspired By Stamping - Asters Stamp Set

Hi crafting peeps, Jo here, I have 2 cards for you today.

The first card I heat embossed using white embossing powder on water colour smooth cardstock. To colour the Aster flower I have used distress mini inks Picked Raspberry & Peacock Feathers with my aqua brush. I generously saturated the water colour cardstock around the aster and applied Tumbled Glass distress ink for a light blue back ground wash effect.

I have faux stitched using my white gel pen on the sides of the center panel.

I have used retired designer series paper from SU for the side panels. Colour combination used for this card is Coastal Cabana and Bermuda Bay. White Staz On ink has been used on the Coastal Cabana cardstock and coordinating taffeta ribbon as the embellishment.

For the second card I have copic coloured the Aster stampset. The image was stamped using Desert Sand momento Ink on X-Press It Copic blending cardstock. Colour.

For the Sentiment I have used Big Notes stampset with Versafine Onyx Black ink for a crisp image. For the bow and Ribbon I have used from the Christmas Ribbon collection.
