Inspired By Stamping Bokeh Birthday Cards

19:30

Today's Cards are all about Bokeh. I have seen alot of cards on Pinterest and wanted to give it ago myself.

I have used a Watercolour cardstock for all 3 cards. For each base I have used varied die ink refill bottles. I have saturated the water colour card stock prior to placing any ink on the card stock. I have picked up ink with my aqua painter brush and placed the inks randomly on the card stock. I had a paper towel on standby if at any stage I felt I over saturated the ink which I blotted over the card stock.

Before I went to the next step I ran my heat gun over the water colour cardstock to ensure it was fully dry to work on.

I created my own stencil template with circle punches and circle dies. I have used Unicorn white pigment ink . TIP - the smaller the circle the more white ink I use and the heavier pressure I use.

For the sentiments I used a black permanent pigment ink to stand out in front of the Bokeh.

To embellish and finish the card black, gold, clear & pink sequins were placed .
