Hi All, Welcome to today's blog post.  One of my favourite all time techniques is heat embossing. Today's technique is a simple way to enhance your heat embossed image by highlighting with a marker. I have used a copic marker (R20) which is close to the colour card stock I have chosen for today's card.

I have traced around the heat embossed image and highlighted certain areas of the stamped image to make the image like its poppy of the image.

Super fine white embossing powder has been used for the card which has been embossed on Blushing Bride cardstock.

I have used 2 fabulous Inspired By Stamping stampsets for today's Card - 1. Water Lily & 2. Happy Occasions. Both stampsets are very useful and a"must have" in your collection.

I have placed designer series paper on a blushing bride card base. The designer series paper comes close to the colour combination. to stamp with. The technique I have used for the stamped image is marker direct to stamp. The 3 markers I have chosen are Baja Breeze, Island Indigo and Rose Red using the Just Because stampset.

To help embellish the card I have used a pleated satin ribbon.

Today's card is a simple layout but to add depth and dimension to this card I have used textured paste where I have added re-inkers to get this coloured paste.

I created my own stencil with my Silhouette Cameo using the hexagons pattern background.

Stampset used is from Simon Says Stamp "Teacher's Rule"

Hi All, Welcome to today's card I have been playing around with the My Minds Eye Paper stack that I received in the Simon Says Stamp May Kit.

For the card base I have used Whisper white then layered the pattern paper and vellum.

The sentiment is from, Inspired By Stamping "Happy Occasions"which I have stamped over the "Vintage Banners.

Inks used are Night of Navy from Stampin Up and Pale Blush Pink. Simon Says Stamp Dye inks.

Hi All, Welcome to today's card. Today I used the IndigoBlu Flitter Glu and Mega Flake Copper Kettle to make this simple yet elegant card. 

The color cardstock I chose for today is Blackberry Bliss from Stampin Up. 

The stampsets used are from Altenew Hennah Elements & Stampin Up Perfectly Penned.

Hi All, todays lovely card is a clean vintage inspired card.

Lots of layers has been done to create todays card. The card base and layers have all been sponged with River Rock ink. I have used the same ink on the front base layer and continuous stamped with the Background Basic III stampset giving the look of designer series paper. I have distress the edges of the base layers with my distressing tool. 

The sentiment used in today's card is from All Year Wishes II which has been stamped on the Fancy Labels II die cut out. 

I have layered the labels die cut with Craft, Olive Green and white card stock a nice soft subtle neutral look. By adding the blue green cardstock it has helped brighten the card up.

Embellishments used for this card are some pearls, choc chip satin ribbon, circle punch and  Martha Stewart butterfly punch.

Fancy Label Dies 2

I first prepared the textured background by mixing Marina Mist ink from the re-inker and Ranger white textured paste the trick is not to add too much re-inker as it will make the past rather thin and may loose some of the texture. The Stencil used is the Tessatina from Memory Box.

For the tag I have used the Stampin Up Punch, the Lawn Fawn scripty thanks die, early expresso brads and scallop border punch placed behind the die. I added a strip of white card stock with pennant ends to add some character to the tag.

Hi All, This is my first time playing along in this blog challenge and had a ball playing along.

I played with the smooshing technique that Kristina Werner and Laura Bassen has recently been demonstrating on You Tube. 

The distress inks I used for the butterflies were picked raspberry, squeezed lemonade, cracked pistachio and peacock feathers.

I die cut the smooshing technique piece I worked on with the Floating Butterflies from Memory box.

The sentiment is from Altenew Label Love stamped in Hero Arts Black ink.  To help tie in the black from the sentiment and butterfly I placed washi tape along the left side of of the card.

Welcome to today's Thank Card It's Friday!

I have used My Minds Eye Paper from my Simon Says Stamp May Card Kit.

The Sentiment is from the lovely Wplus9 peeps Sparkle & Shine.

I have added a touch of Navy for the ink and the tag as I entered this card in the Just Add Ink colour challenge this week.

The tag has been die cut from Lawn Fawn Tag You're It die set.

To embellish the card I have used Stampin Up Gold Twine and Pretty in Pink Tafetta Ribbon.

Hi all welcome to today's cards. I have used the Elegant Flowers Stampset combined with the Spring Bouquet to create these 2 cards.

Hi All, Welcome to today's sweet and simple thank you card.

I have used Spring Bouquet Stampset for the sentiment as I really love the flourish of the Thank You which has been stamped with Versafine Onyx Black Ink on White cardstock. I have hand drawn faux stitching around the border of the white panel to add some extra element of detail to the cardstock. To trim the bottom of the white cardstock I have punched out with pink cardstock with a heart border punch. To finish of the panel I used some dotted ribbon on the right hand side.

I have used Unicorn White ink to stamp the Easter Lily flower on the craft cardstock as a pop of colour on a plain cardstock.
